Frequently asked questions about GolfBooking.

These are the questions operators usually ask first when they are evaluating indoor golf venue software.

Is GolfBooking just booking software?

No. GolfBooking is the operating platform for indoor golf venues: tee sheet and online booking, point of sale, memberships, payments, staffing, Customer Screens, GolfBooking TV, Autopilot, reporting, and more — in one system.

Does GolfBooking include a point of sale?

Yes. The Checks / Point of Sale module lets staff open a check for a bay or walk-in, send food and drinks to the kitchen, split pay, and close with cash, card, or gift card — including the bay fee on the same check.

What are Customer Screens?

Customer Screens are in-bay tablets (Bay Screens) so guests can see time remaining, add time, order food and drinks, and call for help. Info Screens show floor line-up style boards and can also run in GolfBooking TV playlists.

Can we schedule staff in GolfBooking?

Yes. Staffing covers team roles, weekly schedules, publish-to-email, time off and shift swaps, My Schedule for staff, and Time Clock punch-in. Server Payroll compares scheduled hours vs clocked hours.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. GolfBooking is billed monthly after a 2-month free trial. The trial begins when you receive your Welcome to GolfBooking email, and billing starts two months later. It can be cancelled anytime with no penalty.

What payment processors are supported?

A venue uses one active processor: Stripe, Square, or Paystack for online payments, deposits, and holds. Stripe Terminal and Square Terminal support send-to-reader at the desk. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on Stripe checkout.

Can the system work with my existing website?

Yes. GolfBooking can be linked from or integrated with an existing website, and venues can also use dedicated booking URLs for customer reservations.

Can we manage memberships and member-only access?

Yes. Membership Products support online or desk enrollment, automatic renewals, included minutes/funds/guest passes, member tags for rates and discounts, and a Failed payments queue when renewals fail.

Does the system support 24-hour or staffless facilities?

Yes. With supported integrations, bookings can unlock doors, start bay PCs (BayStarter), and run device rules through Autopilot and the Windows Agent / GB Service stack.

Does the system work with any simulator brand?

Absolutely. GolfBooking is hardware-agnostic and works with all major simulator brands. We manage the booking and facility infrastructure so you can focus on the play.

Does the system work for racing, karaoke, or other rooms?

Yes. Flexible bay configuration lets you manage time-based activities — from racing simulators and social suites to private karaoke rooms — in one operating platform.

How does onboarding work?

The operator starts by completing the signup form. GolfBooking configures their instance and makes it live. The two-month free trial begins when they receive the Welcome to GolfBooking email, and billing starts two months later.
